Data centre relocation

The challenge:

A London council needed to relocate all of its IT contents from six server racks in one data centre to another. This required removals and transport with particular attention to safety and expertise in handling valuable IT equipment.

The solution:

The London council called on our data centre relocation services to help them with the move. We depopulated all IT equipment and used specialist fastening methods to protect the equipment during transport. We repopulated the server racks to a plan provided by the client, in place for IT engineers to network. This was carried out over a short period to minimise downtime.
